Used to, but they morphed into BrightHouse. Either way, I cancelled it about six months ago, and can't say I miss it. I watch mostly broadcast when I do watch television, and I find that cable just has MORE channels playing the same shows over and over. And it has commercials on it ... many moons ago, cable was commercial free - made it worth paying for.

My issues with Time Warner was they charged you to downgrade your service, but not to upgrade. So, if you wanted to go from super-fantabulous to the basic package, there was a fee. But if I went from basic to super-fantabulous it was free. I thought that was pretty low life. It was actually "cheaper" to cancel your service and wait until they did one of their "deals" and then only get the basic.

I wasn't a fan. Oh and when I tried to cancel the cable, the "customer service" rep refused to do it until he convinced me that I needed to keep my service. I had to add in the word "lawyer" and "sue", and the phrase "report you to the FCC". They certainly have sucked the meaning right out of "customer service".

We have Time Warner cable out of Binghamton,NY and we live in PA. I don't appreciate all the NY ads and stuff since we live in PA. Also, it is very expensive for the basic cable with no Cinemax or HBO, plus road runner for the computer. What do you think?

yes. it is o.k. they are slow to come repair anything, often put work orders in late or not at all. you have to stay on the telephone riding their butts to get anything done if something happens to your cable. We have the telephone, cable and internet package. Thus far only the internet connection (have had a repair man here 3x's and had 2 new modems) has given us problems, seems to be working good now, but am waiting a little while before I let go of my reservations. We are stuck as there really isn't any other high-speed internet in the area.

Yes... don't have a choice.
The rates keep going up.
I have an old cable box and when I needed a remote, they couldn't give me one - wanted me to change cable boxes. So I change channels manually and just don't watch channels that require the zero (the button that's not working)

Yes we have it. Not an option, but the rate continually goes up.
