Besides the practical uses of geometry mentioned above, studying geometry teaches one the ability to solve problems logically, to step by step deduce the answer. This class did more for me than any other math class.

if you don't know what geometry is good for, then i suggest heading down and picking up a Burger King application. complaining about "why math is important" doesnt change the fact that you need to know it. but hey, it's your life. if you don want to learn math, or dont think it's important...go make my burger.
