Hello Dear,
Yes it is possible to Password protect any of the folder in computer just try the following:

Right Click a Folder>Send To>Compressed Zip folder>Then Open the Folder>File Menue>Add A Password,

Now When ever some one wants to open it and wants to view the content he/she will be asked for password,

Alternatively, you could go to that folder in your Windows Explorer, click on Properties, and click on Sharing, then, go to where it says Local Sharing and Security and click on Make this folder private. That makes it to where only you have access.
