Why do people think ghosts and exist and not extra terestrial life when it is known that all scientist agree it is mathematicaly impossible for us to be alone in the universe, and as for ghost almost all belive ghost are just imagination, so why do people belive in ghosts over aliens?

It's easier and less threatening to believe that a loved one could come back from the dead to protect us than think there might be a race out there smarter and capable of things we'll not learn for many more thousands of years. It's harder to imagine how another being would work, would look like, if they're hostile. Those same things scare people, aswell. While with ghost, we can just easily imagine them being in human body form, and generally harmless. We all realise how huge the universe is, and that there could be a whole network of livable worlds and extraterrestrials, whether similar or completely different from us, is something most people would find terrorfying to not know for sure, and would rather ignore it.

Were are you getting this information? Is there a survey of some kind? I'd like to see it. Can you provide a link or anything?
It seems to me most people believe that we are not alone in the universe, outside some hardcore Bible Thumpers; and they probably don't believe in ghosts either as it would cause problems with the whole Heaven / Hell thing and make the Resurrection seem a little less special.
Not everyone I know believes in ghosts though. You even state this in your question.

By instinct man is feared about something like ghost and human babies are bound to belive in ghosts due to their stupid parents. But the number of modern parents is increasing who teach their babies not to belive in ghosts rather they tell them about the possibilities of life in space

This is more common among people who are not educated so, they get scared of stupid things that they call ghosts. its also the media. there are 100 times more movies that are made on ghosts than life in space. there are also more horror books than books on space. these kind of things make a lot of difference. people workin in nasa or any space industry will definitely have more faith in life in outer space than in the so-called ghosts.

maybe because more think they have been affected by a ghost or a deceaced loved one, than have had an experience with an alien?
