the debate on homosexuality is often bereft of honesty,in our ideal world there would be no stigma about being attracted to the same sex, however we do live in an ideal world, so people who for various reasons do not participate in the debate on homosexuality, they are categorised as being homophobic, when clearly this is not the case.
some people are never asked, they go along with the majority, living in a democratic society this is thier inalienable right. this then leaves room for either end of the question to be taken over, one side then assumes a position of entrenchment, they will not budge from thier position, then of course thrown into the equation you have the religeous point of view.
with all views bieng represented, except the majority, because they will go along with the either end of the debate dependant where thier personal lifestyle takes them, there will be no clear defined position , it is after all a matter of personal choice, if you were stood next to me in a pub, i could make a first glance assessment of you,i may come to the wrong conclusion, your manner and the way you dress, speak, act all come into the equation, we make those assessments in a nanosecond,is it any wonder we get them wrong. i have a position of who am i to tell anyone else how to live, they dont tell me that i cannot marry the opposite sex, why should i tell them they cannot fall in love with the same sex. i have a few friends both male and female who are homosexual, i have friends who are hetrosexual. how you live your life is down to you, society should be tolerant of a persons sexuality, if it does not contravene the laws laid down by that same society, there is research looking into as you say 'they are born that way ' do we go down the road of genetic manipulation, and attempt to stop it like hodkinsons or cancer.? when we discuss issues like this thats when you become aware of other elements within the broader context of discussion, we as a society like scapegoats, we like things clearly defined with no grey areas, and its easier to lay the blame for our own shortcomings as a society than address the real issue.
by calling someone gay, not homosexual, by calling them ******* intead of coloured, spics intead of hispanic, ect,ect we are propagating the propagadist, do not be lead be a leader. do something about it a simple change of vocabulary is a start. regards LF

don't we all get tired of this gay issue? It is just sickening to see a guy a guy walking the streets like a woman does. Worse, even dressed like a woman. I think if gays can act like normal guys it would be better. they should keep their sexuality like straight people do. It so sad that there are certain clothes guys cannot wear this days just because of the gay stereotype. My girlfriend hates low-rise briefs not because it is not sexy but because it is "gay". The gay guys are robbing the straights as the straights are condemning them too. It's just a crazy world!

it's like a child saying "I didn't do it after breaking a rule at achool or home"
They do like you are saying to try to include everyone into their perversion.
Most gays are closet in another way also. They are sickened by theior own life style and cannot stand the fact that they are ill and perverted and it's not theior thought. as you said they know it's wrong but were born tha tway.

uh, sorry yet no. i've got come out to female acquaintances who're tolerant yet no longer particularly accepting of gay adult men yet thoroughly freaked out whilst they found out that i'm a lesbian. They quickly theory i could been perving on them for years:/ in case you hear somebody say 'i do unlike gays' they're going to in all likelihood dislike gay human beings of the comparable intercourse as they're greater desirable than they're going to dislike those of the alternative intercourse in the event that they dislike any of them greater imo. additionally, homophobes tend to hate the gender non-conforming gay human beings greater desirable than the macho gay adult men and the lesbian girly females. If a butch female kissed her companion in public you are able to wager they are going to be booed in the previous they're cheered on. IThe lesbian delusion is shoved down the throats of fellows from an early age and the objectification and utter loss of appreciate for lesbians' identities that lots of those adult men who cheer on lesbian PDA have is purely as upsetting to me as discriminating against a gay guy.

I agree that the way some gays behave is shallow and annoying - but the crux of the matter is that if you are 100 per cent. certain of your own sexuality then whatever they do, as long as it does not effect you directly, it should not bother you.
