All the regions of the world will be affected by the effect of global warming. but initially low lying areas, islands r the one which r in danger---will be drowned.

hilly areas as r higher may have less effect initially but r in danger equally.

global warming is not only going to melt the ice but it will change the weather of the whole world. so the areas which r deserts or dry will get more drier. in some areas heavy rains will flood the land masss.

in other areas lot of tsunamis or tornados or cyclones will come n destroy the property n biomass.

so no region is safe from it. whether any region is doin something to save the earth or other is not doin.

untill n unless we all together do something nothing is going to affect.

thats a good question....but at the rate we are at the moment the affects will not start happening until around 100-150 years from now... But the areas that will be affected the most...entire planet...it's incompetence to think that a single area or even a few areas will not be affected by the effects of the Global warming, if it happens, and in which I am sure it will happen.

all beaches will Disappear, dieasters such as Tornados,Hurricanes, Lighting storms, and Tsunamis will increase 10x and some say even 50x worse then what they are at the moment.... so just watch the movie *Day after tomorrow* which gives you a look at what the world will most likely be like once global warming is around the corner... im sure its not 100% what the earth will be like but its pretty darn close to it since 8-10 geology sciencist helped direct the movie itself.

Countries like the US and some countries in Europe, that have holes in their ozone are very much likey to suffer the consequences of global warming, as they have experienced heatwaves in their areas. Asian countries will also experience the burdens of gw most especially those lying along the tropics because of the possibility of major flooding or even a tsunami.

Africa and the Pacific Island chains will see the most catastrophi change. Africa will see more droughts and famine. The coral atol Pacific islands will cease to exist.
The effects of Global Warming are such that it's quite difficult to find anywhere that won't be affected.

Considering that the bulk of the world's land mass is above the equator, and also that it is the most rapid producer of greenhouse gases and deforestation, I'd have to predict that the entire northern hemisphere is most at risk for changing global weather patterns.
