I know a couple that the girl was 18 and he was 40 when they got married. they are still married today and that was 27 yrs ago. I know of another couple that she was 18 and he was 42 when they got married and they are still married today and its been 20yrs now. It's hasnt always been easy but it has worked for them. If you can handle the commitment, then go for it.

I once dated a man who was 30 years older than me. It was good fun while it lasted but he moved away. I don't talk to anyone about it, it was my experience and no one needs to know. If you feel you need therapy from the relationship then go ahead, but just because they were alot older doesn't mean there was a problem.

Oldest guy I went out with was 23 years older than I was, and I was 20. Although once we actually decided to ask each other's age, we found out that I thought he was 35, and he thought I was 28 or 29. Neither of us called each other after that date, haha.

Had a more succesful relationship with a guy who was 19 years older, who was fantastic, he was funny, brilliant (he worked as a space shuttle engineer for NASA), modest (and never told me about the NASA job, I happened to find out by myself), and loved doing the same things I did.

So if you had a good relationship with this person, and they seemed young for their age, I see no reason why age should make any difference at all! I personally find older men to simply be more mature (+experienced lol), and more interested in life and history than beer.

Besides, think of Kurt Russell, he's over 30 years older than I am (and yes, older than my parents), and would I have sex with him? Hell yeah!!

As long as you were over the age of 18, you can make your own decisions. However, I'd probably refrain from bringing something like that up to pontential boyfriends.

because you're both adults, i do not see the harm. Johnny Depp changed into 27-years-previous even as he dated Winona Ryder, who on the time changed into 19-years-previous. What you do want to do is tell your moms and dads how previous he incredibly is. in the adventure that they locate out his age without you telling them, they are going to be very harm and disenchanted, and doubtless indignant besides. best of success. :)

I really think its okay to talk about it not saying you shout out to the world maybe pick your mother, though that will be hard nothing stays hidden it always comes floating out.Ya i tried hiding some dirty things about myself but what a day when my mum came and question me about those. But now thats a part of my past and i live in the present.

If you were happy then don't wory about it. As its your life your free to live it anyway you want. No one has the right to judge you.If it is worrying you talk to a close friend about how you feel or see a therapist. It was a learning experience you went through nothing to be ashameed of.

you were in love. if the age difference bothers you then don't bring it up. I don't think I've ever asked anyone how much difference in age there was in a relationship. If they brought it up, ok, we'll talk about it. otherwise I never cared, I was just happy she was with me at the moment.

I once went out with a girl who was 16 years younger than myself. Kind of fun for me and she was the first woman I ever met that was as physically capable as me. usually I'm the one begging for it.

Assuming that you are both adults over the age of 18 years of age, it is acceptable. The only thing you need to be aware of is due to the age gap between you two, you may not have that much in common due to age and levels of maturity.
