It depends upon the country you live in. For example, here in India, government cannot think like that because we are already flooding with population....but there are some countries in Europe who are facing acute problem of low rate of birth....and naturally to keep the cycle of its race, it has in practice to pay the citizen to have children...and more children.....its nothing wrong in the policy.

I think it'd be better for the gov't to pay people to NOT have children. Getting paid to have kids is a horrible thing. I'd be mortified if I ever found out I was born so my parents would get more money.

It's not right but with Welfare and Social Security alot of mother's are getting something for nothing. They have all these children and they know the more they have the more they get, it's time that the hard working taxpayer's get together and do something or there will be nothing left for our future.

most people who answered did not know what you mean, i know here in Mid-east ( i am from SA- living in KW), The government do pay families per child,(Muslem-world) and even give each citizen annually a amount of money to share the wealth of the country - i think it is ok!!
and they love families, so babies are not created for the money, but they realy treasure family.

The white countries should because their citizens have decided not to have babies and eventually this will lead to the Muslims ruling Europe. It's a consequence of socialism.

welfare cases are safe bet for politicians people cashing free checks don't complain about the government screwing the working class or taking money and privileges for themselves

American welfare system at it's finest. Well,now you don't get a raise on your welfare check after you've shelled out the 6th child, but until then they are a sure thing for increasing your monthly "benefit"
No, I don't think it is right, but I don't know what to do about it either.

well in some places it is necessary to have an incentive to helpgrow a contry's population. It will not affect kids if they are raised with love

If you mean that an allowance is paid so women can stay home with their kids instead of working DEFINATELY......but if you mean like a baby factory no!!
