It's a good question. I would just follow your heart. If you like someone that much and you think you may have a chance with them, then they might be worth it. Only problem is you could chase them for years and get no where which will hurt a lot.

First, that person accepts you the way you are, allowing you to grow and develop towards greater awareness of yourself and your place in the universe. Secondly, that person spends his most precious commodity on you, i.e., time. In summary, if the person doesn't try to change you and if the person spends alot of their time with you, then you will both "grow" into a unified unit otherwise known as a relationship in which you will graduate into greater intimacy with each other.

its instinct, look at how much time you spend with them, and how much time you WANT to spend with them.
For example: with my x i used to see him 3/4 nights a week, and I used to cancel on him if my mates wanted to go out etc; was never going to go the distance. With my current boyf we're always together, and I hate being away from him. Now, obviously I dont know the furture and I dont know whats going to happen with us, but this feels like it has staying power.

Love should be reciprocated, effortless and feel good..
An addiction or one sided love (ie never worth pursuing) aches, feels bad, is a lot of work.. these feelings show that there is something wrong

You can tell if someone is worth it by the time and effort thay put into things. At times how they respond to you and the time spent with you!

If there is physical and emotional attraction there, they are probably worth it.
