Israel, whose security is a lot tighter than that in the USA, has already experienced suicide bombers blowing themselves and everyone else up in the name of Allah.
How long before the first suicide bomber blows himaelf (or herself) up in Times Square ?
Prior to 9/11 many US citizens and politicians confidently predicted that there would never be a large-scale terrorist attack on US soil, and that the biggest danger was to troops stationed abroad. Oh, how wrong they were.

As someone in the safety services field i feel that a suicide attack is very possible here. We've already seen that it can happen on a massive scale (9-11), I think that it's probably only a matter of time before we begin to see smaller scale attacks like what have been going on in the middle east.

I,am against terrorism by all means, but with " logic " all the way, and the logic says :
when your country " the great U.S of A " blindly supports a Nation that THRIVES on bloodshed, where the very natural reaction expected from the people over there is to resist the occupation,and the only effective and available way to do it, is through the Suicide Bombers.
It works for them - the Suicide Bombers - in Israel, so why don't they knock our doors,and bring it all in to us ? To Times Square ? After all, no one can deny that we did not bring it on our own heads !!!!

You are absolutely correct! As a government, they tend to have an eye on "marked" people here in US if they are from abroad. But, we have some "crazy" Americans here that like to do stupid things for there own causes. It doesn't make sense to me. Why you would do things like this just because your mad at the "world" because your life isn't going the way that you want it to. Here lately mine isn't doing so hot either. But, I'm not going to blow someone else to Kingdom Come. Good ?

I agree with what you are saying, also who can you trust? You can't tell the good people from bad people just by looking at them. Are we supposed to live in fear waiting for them to take their madness to our country? That is exactly why we should be careful who we allow to immigrate to this country. We should check them out and make sure that they don't have any ties to terrorist groups, and we should tighten our borders. I am surprised at how many Muslim people living right here in the US right now who things suicide bombing is just because of economic situation and religion. It is very sad indeed.

If terrorists were going to attack the US they would probably do it on grander scale than just suicide bombs

I've often wondered why this hasn't happened already, our security is so lax. Maybe the Hamas, Hezbolla, Al Queda cells are too close-knit that they can't expand unseen into our hinterlands.

yes, and 90% of them were Libs.....they have been wrong so many times.....t is amazing they have any power at all......it will happen, and there will be more large scale attacks......as sad as I shall be, may I not be a victim of one of the attacks
