That would depend on the felony and class of felony. Most generally in order to be extradited from outside the continental US, one of a couple of things would have to happen. First, the agency that has issued the arrest warrant would have to have confirmed knowledge that you have indeed fled the country. Once that happens they would probably have to contact a number of Federal agencies to arrange apprehension and extradition. Most local agencies are not going to go through the trouble, with the exceptions shown recently with the guy who murdered his wife in the northeast (not sure where it happened). Another possibility is the Federal government picking up the charge, again depending on the nature of the alleged offense.

only if its a bad felony like peddilia or bank roobery do to the fact america has to pay for the ride back they want to make sure they can get a worth while conviction or they wait for tyour *** to get back and goes with states side aslo say u where in cali and a had a warrant in new york for your arrest they wont just arrest u and send u there unless they know they got u for a long time so fooken run duck hide and stay out of troulbe

Ok, I for one am Australian. And as an Australian I don't want you in my country if you have been convicted of a serious crime. Once a criminal... If serious enough, then bloody oath, I hope you will be.
