Why do spanish men stare at white women more?

Not trying to sound prejudice
It's just that I notice when I am walking down the street or in the store Spanish men like to stare at me. Well not just ME women in general. It doesn't matter what they look like they almost break their necks trying to stare. I know I am not hot so unless it is bc I have a huge booger hanging out of my nose I don't see why they stare. Can someone please tell me why?

Yes they stare. It's not just white women, it me too (asian american). The only difference is that the hispanics here in houston stare at me as if they want to beat the crap out of me and steal my car. The stares I noticed they give my white female friends are lustful sexual stares.

I don't know, neither stare is good. I get angry hateful glares from hispanic men all the time, and I did nothing to them! I don't know why. I have asked this question for over a decade. Why do hispanic men stare? I still don't know the reason, depends on the individual. All I know is that most hispanics are racist against asians based on my experiences with them. They stare at white women because they like white girls and want to sleep with them. Yes it's very annoying, but you can't stop them.
They are everywhere and you can't escape them. Best thing to do is ignore them which is hard.
It's worst here, I live in TEXAS which is rapidly becoming another MEXICO, (might as well call texas that) with the huge hispanic population.

It's part of their culture. I spent several years traveling in Latin America. It happens to me, too and I never have been able to "get used to it." (I am a white female). It happened to me just today in downtown LA - two Latino men were glaring at me and it felt so uncomfortable. The driver also almost ran me over while getting too close (I was the pedestrian and had the right of way while crossing the street). It was hideous. It might be a compliment, but it feels totally violating and disrespectful. It does not attract me - it repels me.

Spanish men? Do you live in Spain? I get the sense, when I'm in Spain or Italy and the like, that the men there have not ben castrated in the sense that American men have been. They notice women because they are men and they know it.

That's odd! I believe men in general stare if they like what they're looking at? I'm a little more discrete. Some women like to be stared at. Some think it's rude! I very rarely stare because I think it gives the female too much information about the guy who's starring. I like to keep women guessing. Personally, I prefer women to stare at me. I hope that doesn't sound conceited.

Maybe you only notice the Hispanic men more.Perhaps you secretly desire a relationship with one or you harbor a fear of them more than other men.I'm not making any judgment here only offering an opinion.
Are you with your Hispanic friends a lot ,perhaps they recognize you from them,or from seeing you in a club.
I don't care who stares at me ,if it is done without being lascivious ,I take it as a compliment and move on.
Perhaps you need to explore your inter feelings more on this "problem" you may have the answer already.:)

It's a common activity for men in general, but perhaps it's something to do with the legendary spanish 'fire' - perhaps an eye for a pretty face is genetic?

Ditto on all the comments about the differences between Spanish, Mexican, guatemalan, cuban, etc. not all Hispanics are "spanish".

They do not just stare at white women. Hispanics will stare at other Hispanics (and other ethnic backgrounds), as well

Not sure, but I have noticed this phenomenon, although I think you're thinking of Latino men, rather than men from Spain. An equally valid question is: why do black guys dig fat white girls?

Like you know America is getting FULL of Latinos (Hispanics).. and in the rest of America Latina (Because the USA is just a part of this continent called "American Continent") is that very usual for men to "stare" (look around) at woman at every place, every moment and most of the times there is not a problem with that... (regardless the level of respect involved on this act).

I don't know about other cultures but I can speak for my self only... as a Mexican Male. Sorry if my fellows bother you... and please... don't think they "stare" at you because you looks funny or ugly... I am sure they found something "cute" on you!.
