If Hezbollah is using civillians as human shields why are the civillians still supporting them?

pretty mama, the majority of muslims support hezbollah. just because a dictatorial government like that of Saudi Arabia or Jordan condemn Hezbollah, it does not mean the people of the land dont support hezbollah.

Hezbollah freed them from Israeli occupation in 2000... Hezbollah is trying to protect them now from Israeli attacks...
And if this thing with Hezbollah using them as human shield would be true I really doubt that someone would still support them...That it's just Israeli's propaganda to justify the killing of civilians...

because the Lebanese civilians know that they are caught in the cross - fire now. They also know one major thing that Israel is counting on to win this war,which is to break the Lebanese national unity and solidarity behind Hezbollah at any cost.
That is why western medias and propaganda's,race to spread rumors about Hezbollah,that they use civilians as human shields, and that goes for 2 reasons :
1 - For the International world to say : how " SAVAGES " those Hezbollah people are.
2 - For the Israelis to have a " probable cause " when they blow up a complete building full of innocent women and children !!!

That is why the civilians still support Hezbollah !!!

this is the paradox of the Muslims - they don't support the Hezbollah but they are too weak to take them on - also they rather believe that all there troubles are due to Israel then addressing their own failures. It is easier to be a martyr then accept responsibility to why they are still backwards and have not progressed.

also you are only seeing a partial picture from the media - a majority of Arabs want to get Hezbollah out of there but finally after many years they were able to get rid of Syria when they had a mini revolution but the radical Muslims that support Hezbollah and killed Lebanon's past leader harriri thought it was safer to keep Hezbollah on the border rather than incurring problems with Iran

The answer is simple to this excellent question: They are NOT using civilians as human shields!!

Anyone who think they are is actually an ignorant fool who doesn't know what they're talking about. Why? Again, very simple:

Hezbollah soldiers are simply the fathers, husbands, brothers, cousins of those people!!

Hezbollah is not a terrorist organization but rather a Lebanese Resistance who have the right to free the 10,000 prisoners and to free the Lebanese Shebaa farms!!

israel is suffering heavy casualties in the ground battles, and they can only kill lebanese civilians. they said "hezbollah is using civilians as human shields" as the justifications, but they give no evidence. if this israeli claim were true, the bombing would also destroy hezbollah infrastructure and weapons beside civilians. But the fact, hezbollah is still exist, they still launch rocket, they still repel Israeli soldiers and destroy merkave tanksin the battle.

Whoever tell u that Hezbollah is using civilians as shields is lying to u. The true facts is that Israel's/US/UK mission is "operation no mercy" to Mideast people. Israel should prove to the world that Hez. is using civilians as shields. As far as this war is concern, up to now none among the wilfully destroyed lives in Qana, Tyre, etc were/are Hez. army. All are civilians, no single Militia among them. If it is true, there must be an evidence to prove this. What is happening is just Marciless measures against humanity directed by US and being carried out in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Lebanon; go on to Iran and Syria.

Everybody knows that Bush/Blair/Olmert means no peace on this earth, and it will continue like that until.....................

it's all a matter of perception and information, the militia don't have launchers deployed at every school, apartment block, hospital etc but they do fire from these type of places, so when the Israelis fire back they perceive the Jews to be attacking innocents. Add to that the militia actively censor and confiscate photos etc and stop medics and emergency services from attending till they clear away evidence of their presence so it looks like an unprovoked attack. Remember that when Israel attacked Gaza ages ago the arabs there were filmed in the act of making false funeral corteges to fuel outrage. I was amused by western reporters who attended the Ramalla destruction and reported "the stench of death heavy in the air" the same day the attack happened. Now, I know for sure that even in the middle east bodies don't decay that fast!
