1,459,238,412 - if there are always a few people swimming

What sort of support are you suggesting? Envionmentally? Economically? How much beer per capita per year? What's the real question here?

If we become too monitored that will be our downfall. It's just un-Australian to dob the next bloke in. If the population increases too much, they'll be introducing ID tags next. Then it'll be all over. Might as well board the nearest Indonesian fishing trawler or Japanese whaling boat (coz they're always in our waters anyway, and we can stow away on their trip back home) and get lost in Asia somewhere. Everyone loves Aussies, right? Ha ha. We're so great!!!!!

43, 469, 136, 750. I worked this out by multiplying the population density of the most urban place in the world (Tokyo, by the size of Austrailia.

This is obviously a theoretical amount and 43 billion is a lot bigger than everyone on the planet.

An interesting thing to tell people is that staninding sill, the entire population of the planet could fit on the Isle of Mann

A lot more than at present but you would have to build up the economy over time: in other words it could only happen incrementally over time and not by large step increases.

The "Aborignals" managed their country properly before Britain shipped her Prisoners over and then take the place over.
Nobody asked them before the place was populated and they were reduced to second class citizens in their own country.
