i believe that the meaning of life is just to be yourself, doing what you want, but with limitations. freedom in the sense that you do not make somebody fall down or hurt someone. you do something if it is according to the will of god. As human beings, we should be responsible enough, and that i think is the essence of being alive in this crazy world. freedom and responsibility come together to form a not-so-perfect life but can be considered meaningful. freedom ends when your responsibility begins. you are free to do what you want, but it is also your responsibility to respect people around you.

another thing, living your life to the fullest is the very ultimate goal that we should think of. it is not how we become in the next 5 years or so. it is in the process of how you attain something. it is not the final product but the step-by-step process which makes you feel very contented with your life.

life is meaningful also when you are surrounded by people whom you love, and also love you in return. love is the greatest gift that you can give to others to make your life worth living.

This question is inappropriate. It's like asking the meaning of a chair.

In life, what can you do but strive for your personal happiness?

You have to make the best of it...

Or, if you prefer, you could say the objective in life is, when presented lemons, to make lemonade.

Life is an opportunity to rise closer to the Most High by serving his weak and helping those in need, and connecting with the Holy One in that sense. Along the way you can enjoy his many blessings knowingly and unknowingly. One can also endure the hardships that befall you to practice your spiritual strength and to build your patience muscles.

Anyone who doesn't seek the meaning of his life has deprived himself his noble destiny and his most precious bestowal from God. The greatest bestowal is the rational sense which is the light of the mind for seeking the truth, and the noble destiny is to live the life as one of the beloved children of God.

I once actually knew what the meaning of life was. It was profound and simply beautiful. Then I tilted my head and it poured out of my ear onto the ground, lost forever. I was on acid at the time.

However, now that I am older and wiser, I know it is to love and serve God and prove it by loving my neighbor. You cannot love God without loving your neighbor. Reject all evil and grow stronger and closer to your Maker.
