About 1 year..same goes with nuts.
alykitcat86 is right about the bacteria...honey may cause a rare type of food poisoning (infant botulism)

A severe, sometimes fatal food poisoning caused by ingestion of food containing botulin and characterized by nausea, vomiting, disturbed vision, muscular weakness, and fatigue.

if the infant shivers, feel cold, it can be given honey , but only after a min of 5 days after birth, so min age is 5 days, but should be given only a drop not more , as honey is v. hot,
