dear garothina this word doesn't mean nothing in italian and i'm 99% sure about that isn't a dialectal expression.

the only word that comes to me in this moment and that sounds similar would be "pupetta" (poo-pe-tah) the diminutive word for "pupa" that is a slang-word meaning "baby" or "little girl".

I believe PUPIDA is not an Italian word, but Serbian astronomical word "Pupida 6" in reference to Argol Garr.
