Someone else has already mentioned Witchvox. They are an excellent source for local individuals, covens, study groups, and metaphysical shops (another good place to meet people).
There are also many local Yahoo groups. Try typing in "Wicca" and the name of your state into the Yahoo group search.
It can be tough getting to know other people.
