Believe it or not, there is no proof that we (human beings have caused global warming). It is only a theory. The earth has had a long history of brief warming periods and long cooling periods they teach this in high school science. Ice core samples recently studied show periods of severe climate change that happen every so often. We should focus on when the next extreme change is in order to survive. Whether or not people drive hybrids isn't going to make much difference. Green house gasses bubble up from the oceans, wetlands, volcanoes, tundra, and wild fires naturally. Environmentalist often over estimate our impact on nature. The population of termites pound for pound is 3x's greater than us and the byproduct of them digesting wood is methane the # 1 green house gas. The earth has survived these changes in the past and if we prepare we might survive too.

global warming is mostly a crock. It's a little foolish to think that man could actually make that much difference (that man could be the reason for any "global warming".

I'm far more concerned about global cooling myself. We had a VERY chilly springtime this year, no spring at all, in fact. . it just went essentially from a very long winter (or a winter and a very cold spring) to summer.

most vegetation will survive

but humans... I don’t think we can

do you mean, can we stop global worming?

we can build sunshades in orbit to cool the planet. Tinker with clouds to make them reflect more sunlight back into space. Trick oceans into soaking up more heat-trapping greenhouse gases.
I think these are all active intervening methods that scientists are working on.

Global worming is very influenced by us.
If you tip the scale and change our climate, it will accelerate and shoot to the extreme.
If its not by man, it will happen eventually by cause of nature.

Ten to twenty years from now you will be asking how we get the planet warm again. There is a cycle of warm and cold. Look what happened to the dinosaurs and it has little to do with what man does.

As with any animal , adaptation = survival . If you do not adapt to new conditions the animal will cease to exist .
