at 6yrs kids pick up alot of things thru tv other kids etc. i would not make big deal over it as this has a tendency to make them want repeat the same action. but i would tell on a one to one basis that what he called your sister was not very nice and he should apologize.if he sees how you react (calmly) he will probally not repeat that action again but if you overreact he will know what pushes your buttons and here you go again!

If she is a hoe, I suppose he real is just calling a spade a spade right? Do you really think a 6 year old knows what a hoe really means, or what the implication off what he is even saying is?? He probably just heard a word from his friends and is repeating it..He needs to be told that that is not proper language, and if he does it again, he will get a darn good spanking.

A six year old has no idea what a whore is or does. That would be a repeat of something he heard at home or from popular culture. If his parents do not deal with it there is nothing you can do. I understand they are family but there should be some serious discussion between the parents about behavior which is not acceptable.

it really has nothing to do with the child except he is the one that said it maybe he's saying something that he has heard in his home or it could be from tv but whatever it is now i sure your sister knows a child shouldn't hear things like this because a child is a child and no the child doesn't know any better he just thinks its ok because this is what hes hearing it's not like he just made it up know what I'm saying so instead of calling him bad you need to look at whoever he around( no offense)

maybe he heard the term amongst friends at school

did he know he was saying something bad? how could he possibly know at age 6? children are not even allowed to testify in court until age 7, before that they are considered too young to know the difference between reality and fantasy
to label a 6 year old as 'bad' is bad

Try to ask him where he heard that word used... I mean I have seen things like this happen and usually because they hear someone close to them say it and they are just copying what they are saying. Be careful because if he thinks he can say it he is going to keep doing it and it might be at school or something.

Your sister needs to do some disciplining. She cannot just let things like this go. Bad behavior needs to be corrected or she will be raising a future felon.

I doubt he even know what it means it is just a word he has heard. Explain to him it is a bad word and if he uses it again his mouth will be washed out with soap and all hi privileges will be revoked
