Deep Qusetion!?

since i gots swimmers ear and it tottaly sucks and i cant sleep i got a question for u guys if u are born deaf what language do you think it if u never learned a language or heard a language and dont know brail

being deaf really has nothing to do w what language you understand....if you never learned a language at all being deaf wouldnt change that you still would know no language...iM guessing it would kinda be like if you were the 1st cave man of sumthin, you would just make it up & call things what you wanted etc etc etc.....if you were born in an English speaking family the you would be taught English, being able to "hear" the language doesnt really matter, you can still learn what things are but reading, seeing, association, even if you never knew what it was calle dyou could still know what to do w it, just from past experiences w the item

Born-deaf children have a much harder time learning due to the fact that they have to be taught, for instance, the names of objects that hearing-abled children learn early on. So, I guess the answer is- no language.

Well, I would say that the person would think in images. Not everybody thinks in words/phrases, some people do think only in pictures. If a person never knew what a word/phrase was, the only option for them would be to be thinking of pictures.

you would learn whatever language the people around you speak and possibly sign language. You may lip read. you definitely would not use braille though, that's for when you're blind.
