Most gyms won't let anyone under 13 use the equipment.

One can start with body weight exercises without going to a gym as early as 5 years old. Lifting weights on another hand is a bit tricky at young age. I would recommend starting with very light weights around 12 years old, but only under a supervision of a qualified professional.

You're never too young to start exercising. Just make sure you ask a personal trainer to help put together a program that is right for you, so you don't overdo it and injure yourself!

I was 10 when my father started me on weight training. No ill effects (unless you count my insanity.. hehe..)

i would say your good at about 14-15

14 or 15. starting sooner than that ruins your muscles...

i wouldnt start before 13 or 14. have someonme who knows what there doing teach you
