Teachers and parents ARE the community's resources. A better relationship of communication and accountability is a good start.

Make sure to have a comprehensive folder that contains lists/flyers/info. on all your community resources. Parents often look to their child's teachers as a source of information and help, so a teacher should have a file that they can turn to in order to offer the correct help for the situation.
