I sat up to pull my balnkets over me and the room started spinning. The weird thing is, my head has been like this for 2 days now. My husband had to stay home from work yesterday to take care of the baby because I can't walk withour running into walls or falling over. My mom says I have the flu. But the only sickness in my stomach is when I try to get up to use the bathroom, etc. Is there something wrong with me? I haven't hit my head or anything. I took dramamine earlier and it's helped a little. I don'e have motion sickness either. What's going on?

it could be a number of things, a more thorough background on the situation would help... it could be an inner ear infection, it could be sinus related, but it also sounds like it could be what they call a "rock in the ear" where a calcium deposit moves around inside the semicircular canals of the inner ear. Most commonly, when this occurs, it affects people in the motions of flexing forward and extending backwards. It can cause you to experience dizziness. I would talk to you doctor about your symptoms and get it check out. There are exercises that can help to move the deposit out of the canal so that it can settle to be reabsorbed, and sometimes they can give medication for it too. good luck!

That sounds like a classic ear infection. Go to a doctor! Also, you may be hypoglycemic. Eat something when you feel that way. If that takes care of the problem, then you know you just need to eat better and more often. GO TO A DOCTOR.

Go see a doctor. Likely an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) doctor. Might have something to do with your ears, because it is balance, but go see a doctor.

maybe you should ask a doctor not random people on the net. You could have anything from dizzyness to a tuma. Get it checked out by a professional.

You should go to a doctor to be sure, but the lightheartedness sounds like it could be low blood pressure.
