currently i know of someone, a teen, who is very emotional of her tb status and desperately wants to have children in the future.

Of course she can. She has to go through the treatment for TB. TB is curable. I know of a few people who had contracted TB and are now cured and having children.

she should talk to a doctor and obstetrician about this....only a professional can tell her what her options are.
