I'm going to say the child has probably witnessed abuse in the household, and is being bullied already. I would say abuse in a family. My kids saw my EX beat me, they know he pulled my hair out. I just hope our daughter does'nt fall for a guy that beats her and our boys don't hit girls they are dating just because DAD did it!!! I've always wondered this myself. I think about it often and just pray. And I talk to them also about it. Daughter is 13, boys are 9, 10. Good luck

There are no characteristics that makes a child more or less susceptible to any kind of abuse. A child has no control over family life, or what happens from bullies.

definitely abuse in the family! The child is likely to grow up thinking it is normal and become the same way. Like everyone says its like a roundabout. Majority of abusers are the abused! and even the case with peados. So basically the child will gorw up to probably treat his/hers familt the same way.
A bullied child which is very commen will know its wrong, they wont become a bully themselves. When they have children of their own they will go out of their way to stop bullys and teach the child to be confident etc. Bullied children learn from their mistakes of being bullied (sucking up, not ignoring etc..).
