There is a great series of books called "How to be perfect stranger" that respectfully asks members of different faiths pretty much what your asking, I think you might find them fun.
I have been to Hari Krishna, Catholic, Ukrainian Orthodox, baptist, Mormon, Lutheran, Taoist, Pagan and Buddhist churches and services, each was so different, you should go see them, I think each religion is beautiful in its own way.
As the Christians went here are some thoughts and impressions I had as a visitor, the Lutherans where engaging, into art and peace, the Mormons had very "modern" decorations and shared stories and testimony's, preformed music and had no priest, the baptist sung intense praises and where casual, the Catholics had beautiful art and traditions and prayers that everyone followed in a procession of order and ritual, the Ukrainian service
I did not see.
Hari Krishna's decorated with wonderful color and gave us food they had cooked themselves as an offering of devotion to their Godhead.
Buddhist had a quiet shrine and monks and nuns sang haunting songs and shared wisdom.
The Taoist had a tiny home with a shrine and a caretaker who kept a garden and had a sword over his bed.
The Pagans had a Grove of old growth trees and lit candles to world peace and diversity.
This is just my experience. The only things they had in common where singing or a quiet place.

I go to a Baptist church. We are an independent Baptist, meaning we do not belong to any association (like the Southern Baptist Convention). We are also a fundamental Baptist church, meaning we take the Bible literally. We believe it to be true down to the very last word. We also only use the King James Version.
We do not believe you must be Baptized to be saved and go to heaven. We just believe that it is a symbol of your being born again and that you are also following in Jesus' footsteps by being Baptized.

Baptist mean well, I'm sure...but they lack sooomuch.
If you want the fullness of the Faith find your friendly neighborhood Catholic parish
Stay away from the Protestants....all the rest of the "Denominations".... they completely lack full understanding. Nice people, yes. Most sincere and love Jesus, yes. And I don't question their salvation. They just miss so much though...very empty

It would take a very long time to provide all of the differences in any detail.
Basically, interpretation is what creates the differences. Most people are "born into" a particular religion or faith. They believe what they have been raised to believe based on how that particular religion or faith interprets the writings of their texts.

Buddha was a man whose followers claimed he was god. However , he never said that he was himself god. The rest of the names that you mentioned are called denominations. Denominations form as a result of many interpretations of the bible . I prefer the non-denominational route. Less dissagreements and consequently more understanding.
