Okay, let's clear this up. Blasphemy is using God's name in vain.
What does that mean? Saying Godammit? Jesus sucks? No, not at all.
Using God's name in vain is against one of the Ten Commandments of Yahweh. It means pretending to be God or the Son of God or having greater earthly powers than any normal man would be expected to have, save genius.
That is why Jesus was very, very careful to not say that he was the Son of God because, as a rabbi, he knew that would be against the Ten Commandments. Instead, he gave vague generalities when asked about his relationship with God.
"That is what you say."
"They may say that but I do not say that."
"What do you say I am?"
"Aren't we all the children of God?"
In that way, Jesus was never blashemous, though he allowed others to blaspheme in his name.

It's a dead serious thing. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (that includes God and Jesus) is an "unforgiveable sin".
That's not whynotaskdon. It's an impersonator.

Because blasphemy is the act of rejecting God. Of saying, even though you know better, that he doesn't exist.

It's only blasphemy if you believe in the bible. If you don't, it does not matter. Either way..some people need to lighten up.

Actually, "the big no no" is doing it in the bung hole. That's the big no no!
And disagreeing with me is just blasphemy. That's just a regular "no no".
