oh your not alone. More than half of America can't sleep. I had this problem too. If you have a lot things going on in your life, like school, work, or relationships then you have a over loaded brain right before you hit the sack. For one you have to but your body in a shut-down mode. People like us can't just lie down, shut our eyes and fall asleep. simply, because our brain is still functioning and trying to solve all our little problem right before bed time. Shut-down by preparing for bed time, it should take at least and one hour and half to do this. set your bed area nice, clean and relaxing. This will alert your busy brain to focus on sleeping and not anything else. second choose comfortable and enjoyable pajamas. Lastly, some soft music or earth tunes. I know it seems like a lot but it works. After a few time you will be surprised at the results.

trust me, you are not alone. And you don't need presciption drugs to help you out. There is a product known as melatonin and can be bought over the counter at GNC store or any pharmacy/drug store. It is like a vitamin and will definaltely help. Also, there are some herbal teas that you can find in any supermarket to help your body relax before bed. If you are still having trouble getting to sleep, you may have insomnia and you might want to bring it up to your doctor or even a parmacist. They can help.

good luck.

Someone told me to start praying, when I couldn't sleep, it should work, cuz the devil don't want you to pray, so he'll put you to sleep... :) I had no problems since!
