well, i've got a few.... one of my favs is Philippians 4:6-7, "Dont worry about anything;instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." To me it is just SO awesome to know that he is always there and cares.... more than I will ever be able to understand! What an awesome thing!!

Favorite verse: Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God. Why? Because it is in that stillness I can feel his presence within me bring about the calm assurance that I need each and every day. Next favorite: Psalm 71:7 I am as a wonder unto many; God is my strong refuge. Why? I ask God one day how he saw me - and this is the verse he led me to - and as I discussed it with my family and friends it was so perfectly me!

Some really excellent Bible studies can be found at www.christiancourses.com - they are free and I'm currently doing SoulCare - it is excellent if you are one who has been called to be an encourager, which is my gift, and even if you haven't it teaches the very basics of excellent communication skills and truly talking soul to soul with fellow Christians. Plus they have a whole resource of courses that can be taken that are indepth Bible studies.

Psalms 37:29  The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. King James Bible

29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it.
Modern Translation

This was King David's future hope, if as most religions teach, the good go to heaven, the bad go to hell, then David made a false statement, because there would be no one left on the earth, this one verse is what got me studying the Bible many years ago.

Matthew 15:30-31

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Maybe a weird verse(s) to consider a favorite but what I like is in the 31st where it says "And immediately Jesus stetched forth his hand, and caught him..." That's what he does for us today, as soon as you ask him to save you, he will right then. Isn't that great!?!?!?!

There is so much good stuff in the Bible, it's hard just to pick out one or two favorite verses, but I've been studying and teaching in Matthew lately and those verses really stuck in my mind.

That's a tough one. I don't think I can give just one . . . there are sooooooooo many I love . . . okay . . . how about Micah 4:4 - "They will actually sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, and there will be no one making them tremble; for the very mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken it."

The reason I love this one is that there is so much to tremble about right now during these last days, but soon - very soon - this prophesy will be fulfilled and there will nothing left to frighten us at all.

(PS - Of course I love my namesake scripture as well, but Bill already mentioned that one.)

My favorite is Revlation 21:3,4 where it talks about the conditions that the world will be in when God get rid of all the wicked people, and death will be no more and no more tears or pain.

Those who dwell in the secret place of the most high must abide by the shadows of the almighty. Ps 91:1 that is my 911 prayer. Thanks for asking and God Bless!

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shephard i shal not want, He maketh me to lie down on green pastures, he leadth me to walk beside still waters. Even though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, i will fear no evil, for you are with me, you will comfort me. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and i will dwell in the house of the lord, forever.

This constantly remind me of God's faithfulness to me and that no matter what happens, I know i can put my trust in Him 100%. "Even though i walk through the shadow of death i will fear no evil." Jesus is always there by my side- i know, cos' i believe! =)

God Bless You!
