Point blank - H&LL NO going out and buying a car like that at 18/19 WILL take up most of your pay check between car payment, insurance and gas. Do you have good credit? Say you don't because you have never had a loan before or credit card. That means this $25,000 loan can be charging you about 18% interest. So your car payments will be around $400 a month minimum. What about insurance? Males under 25 pay the HIGHEST insurance rates on a 2 door vehicle, which guess what the charger is. Your insurance will most like be around $200 a month Gas? Say it is $4 a gallon by the time you finish, that is about $50 to fill a tank and you fill it once a week because you are driving around all the time. That is at least $200 a month. That is in total around $800 a month, beyond 3/4 of your pay. Plus there is the chance you get stationed overseas and can't take it with you. What you need to do is WAIT, take the car buying class through Family Services as it will give you a lot of help. Save up to get a nice down payment. Maybe even take out a small loan to build your credit by paying it for at least 6 months then pay it off early. When you are ready take someone with you that knows about cars and financing as well so you don't get pulled into something that you can't afford.

A E-1 with less than 2 years of service gets $1022.70/month. Once the soldier hits the 2 year mark, the rate increases to $1105.50/month, regardless of how long he/she is in service. Fortunately, soldiers generally do get promoted off of E-1 within 90 days. An E-2, with 2 years of experience gets $1239.30/month.

That is just the basic salary

Not everyone gets the same pay...depends on time in service as well as rank, married or single, duty station and if the soldier is deployed.

Not much.

You'd be better off as a civilian making minimum wage with a union contract.
