I'm not superstitious at all. I like black cats, Friday the 13th is just a day to me, and I make it a point to walk under ladders when I can, etc. However, for some reason I can't explain, I throw salt over my left shoulder if I spill it.

in a given particular circumstances, repeatedly if some thing bad happens, one becomes superstitious.. over centuries these incidents become stories carried down the generations by word of mouth... some of them are true and happen
