Equally misinterpreted is the following verse: "When the [four]forbidden months are over, wherever you find the polytheists, kill them, seize them, besiege them, ambush them – but if they turn [to God], maintain the prayer, and pay the prescribed alms, let them go on their way, for God is most forgiving and merciful." 9:5 The hostility and bitter enmity of the polytheists and their persecution of the Muslims during the time of the Prophet PBUH became so great that the disbelievers were determined to convert the Muslims back to paganism or finish them off. It was these hardened polytheists, who would accept nothing other than the expulsion of Muslims or their reversion to paganism, and who repeatedly broke their treaties, that the Muslims were ordered to treat in the same way – either to expel them or to accept nothing from them except Islam. But even then the Prophet and the Muslims were not simply pounce on such enemies, reciprocating by breaking treaties. So this ultimatum was issued

Alot of you people are idiots arent you? Actually in Islam they believe anyone will go to heaven as long as you are a good person and follow one of the 3 major religions...now please name another religion that says that? Oh and by the way Christianity is full of **** too...I would know, I'm Christian...you people have no open minds, and if your religion is telling you to hate people because they are a different religion, then I feel bad for you because God made all religions....and in the end it doesnt even matter what you are, it just matters how good of a person you were to others.

For Don,
there are so many things in the bible that take so much explainging to sound even remotely reasonable, so why not be as open minded to others?

Sounds like a convenient excuse to kill people for not converting to Islam.

Islam is on its last legs, pal. Repent your ways now and you will be spared. Spread the word: we are coming for you and your sinners. Prepare for the end.
