the kind I am enjoying at the time, I only go to places where I like the pizza, or preferably make it myself at home, most people would be surprized at how easy and quickly a good pizza can be made from scratch. Thats usualy what I try to do. I am making a brick barbque in the yard this summer that will incorporate a wood fired pizza oven , just because I can. But I know you meant ingredients and brand, but i cant help myself because i am a smartassed jerk. Any way, Fresh mild italian sausage, cooked halfway before adding, Fresh mushrooms, sliced about 1/8 inch thick, olives, a little peperoni, homemade sauce with basil and garlic, my own beer bread crust. and fresh ground mozzerela cheese, Dang it, Im hungry now.
I also make a pretty darn good teriyaki chicken pizza, Shredded chicken in soyvay teriyaki sauce, Instead of pizza sauce on the dough, i spread honey then a little green pepper and red onion chopped ultra fine sprinkled on, then add the chicken and cover with a generous amount of the fresh mozz. Really good!
350-375 for about 18 minutes for a large. if you have a big cast iron skillet, rub a bit of olive oil in it first, then bake your pizza in that, comes out just like pizza hut pan pizza.

Back where I'm from, there's a little local place called Sam and Joe's (in Danvers, MA). It's been there for about 45 years. BEST freaking pizza you'll ever eat! If you're lucky enough to be in that neck of the woods I highly recommend you stop by-may be the highlight of your trip. I prefer pepperoni and mushrooms but it's all good. Try the salami pizza! One hint though: call ahead and order for take out. For some reason, it tastes better if you eat it out of the box. And say hi to Domenic at the take out window!

I just had a pizza last week that was delicious, from the Red Grape - pear and gorgonzola cheese with hazelnuts on a thin crust from a wood burning stove.

I think though, best pizza of all time has to be the Indian Pizza I used to get from Bocce Pizza in West Philly. It had lamb, goat cheese and onions on it - it was soooo good! Bocce was a fun place to go to also. They had a Bocce court in the middle of the restaurant so you could play while you were waiting for your food. They aren't there anymore - a sad loss for the Pizza Community!

If we are talking mainstream, though, I would have to say the Stuffed Crust Supreme from Pizza Hut totally rocks!

Peace!

My favourite pizza would have a little sauce, double cheese, double mushrooms, and double black olives. With mayo on the side.

At our local tavern the owner had this special pizza called "Greg's Special" or something like that but it had cheese, candadian bacon, sauerkraut and buffalo wings on it although the one we got didn't have buffalo wings but I loved it. Its my favorite. Too bad the tavern is now under new management and doesn't make it anymore :(
