Yeah but if you 'know' too much you may end up like Mr. Roger 'Syd' Barrett. Be forewarned, genius leads to insanity.

Yeah sadly I got very lost in drugs and I came out of it by not being able to quit on my own. I tried and tried for months but I kept ending up back on them. My demon was meth. My life was stagnant and my soul felt dirty. I couldn't really do what my heart wanted. It was like my soul wasn't connected to my body. I was very much divergent- which means taking my mind to another place because I could not stand my reality.
Then one night, I finally called out to God.
I needed help. So I fell asleep and had a dream of my best friend coming up to my front door and I saw him through my front window and ran to meet him right?
And then I woke up- ran to the door just as I hear knocking-
and it's the cops looking for me with a warrant from the beginning of that year when I was caught under the influence. I went to jail for 28 days. I had been to jail before. Three times. I actually wrote myself a note on the wall once and saw it the next time I got in at the same bunk! Crazy. Meth heads get high and the days just fly and you never look back and barely remember yesterday... if you get to at all... until you get sober.
I got out on prop 36 and went to a rehab for 9 months. I've been sober a year and a half now. Clean since 1/06/05 and I have a daughter now. I'm very happy now that God has saved me.
Plus right at my breaking point in jail I prayed to God to save me from there as well and then I read this scripture that said "The Lord Your God knows what you need before you ask." That day I was released.

I understand you... we want a shrubby... :)
Ask yourself this… is the universe needed to understand drugs?
hmmmm if you are having realizations and truth downloaded upon you when you are under the influence then it is obvious you are not able to be calm. You, your mind in its natural state contain stresses / problems frustrations plaguing the mind. You need to free your mind of the stress for if you don't it spills over into your body and damages it. There is more truth out there then you know. To know more truth you need to be out there. But unless the base of your mind is solid reaching out there is dangerous do you want to know what the solid base of your mind is?

Yes, in my phase pot really helped explain meanings to all sorts of things. Mushrooms TOTALLY made things make sense...and wouldn't let me shutup. But now I'm a mom and those days are over.

I have never used drugs to enhance anything.
I would expect you can get much learning by using a hammer or club over one sown head.....same logic as drugs.
Hallucinogenic drugs don't enlighten -- they just short circuit brain cells.

absolutely. this is just one of the reasons i am very cynical about the anti-drug propaganda out there.
i feel concerned, and almost sorry, for the people who are naive to these kind of original thoughts and recite anti-drug fiction that theyve been taught to believe.
this is not to say all drugs are the same. but some have certainly helped, yes.

Yes. They helped me realize that I shouldn't do drugs. No judgment for anyone who does; but the universe did teach me that about myself.

I tried a few different things, and it never did anything for me. I got a lot more out of meditation, honestly.
