I have these strange pimples on my stomach, right where the top of my abs are. These are no ordinary zits, most won't pop, and they will not go away!
These are pimples, there is no doubt in my mind...
I have had them for at least a few months, and have just recently begun to take action. I put rubbing alcohol on them to dry them out, and use acne treatment on them. This 'remedy' seemed to work well, but now they are getting back to what they used to look like again.
They are not large by any means or very easy to see, but I tire of their presence.
Anyone have any input on how to get rid of these?

My 5 year old son has the same thing. When I took him to the doctor, she called them Molluscum. I've attached a link that might help you identify it. Good luck.

P.S Drying them out is pretty much what the MD told me to do for my son. He prescribed him Retin-A

I don't think it is a zit. Zits are where a pore of the skin becomes dirty and infected. You can pop them easily and the infection goes away. It should have gone away by itself by now, even if you hadn't been able to pop it. The immune system should have healed it in about 2 weeks.
This is something else. Could be cysts. Same thing as above, but deeper in the tissues.
Could be an allergy.
Could be something else more troublesome. Go to a doctor.

Zits shouldn't last for that long. If you shave there it could be ingrown hairs. It could be any number of things, really. If they really bother you, see a dermatologist. They're used to strange bumps on bodies and will know what to do.

i think that what you have here is ingrown hair, and the only way you get rid of them is by squeezing them you might want to try it after a long hot shower, your pores will be more open and therefore it'll be easier for you to take them out. Good luck and be strong cause sometimes they can hurt a lot but if you don't squeeze they can get infected.
