in my opinion, oil is not the godhead of life, but, i get your point
i, however, DO care about the middle east...
they forced me and other americans to care what happens over there...i don't think the way we went stomping in over there made any sense, but, they just had to do something on OUR soil to get us on THEIRS...i don't really want someone from over there coming back and trying to drop bombs on me, my kids, my grandkids and my mother, sisters, and other innocent people...like you...and i don't even know you...
otherwise, i would say let them do what they want to do, as long as they keep it on their OWN soil

Ignorance is bliss isn't it? I think that putting together Oil and War together in a sentence makes you a thinking and 'concerned' citizen nowadays. If you find out the principles of these terrorists and their plans of terrorizing the globe, I don't think you would care much about the oil... In case you still insist, I want to ask you what do you think of Bush's socio-economic policy? I bet all you can say is "**** Bush" or "Bush is stupid" and I am most assured that you have no idea what I just asked you.

Without the oil they would be busy fighting amongst themselves over every pile of camel dung and water hole. Since they have the oil and have a bad attitude about other people the problems in the middle east visit us whether we want ot know about them or not.
