If I wanted to 'spice up' my relationship, how does buying my girlfriend a vibrator sound? (under the right circumstances of course). Do I risk having her enjoy the vibrator more than me? Or will it give her a boost to her sexual drive?

Sexual toys can be a lot of fun as both partners are will participants. I think that if you have both discussed it and she is open to it then it would be a great gift! Perhaps get on that is more of a clitoral stimulator at first before getting her some scary vaginal one. A lot of girls are uncomfortable with those and will not be into it. Perhaps take her to a store that sells adult toys and be like let's pick out a gift for you/us...that way you can make sure she will be into it and can choose something that is comfortable for her.
As far as the risk to you, you never know, but in many cases as long as they are used together it is okay and non of my friends have gotten "addicted" to them. Encourage her to use it with you and it should be fine.
I think it will definitely spice up both of your sex drives and will be something new to try which is usually a boost to sexual drives as long as both partners are into it.

Well - first of all, how close are the two of you? If you have been dating for 2 weeks, then obviously it's a dumb gift. But if you feel comfortable that she won't scream at you and beat you over the head with it, then you have a green light.
Girls DO NOT ever enjoy a vibrator more than real sex. We may joke around about it - but it's not the same. You shouldn't be jealous of it. If any girl in the history of vibrators has ever dumped her boyfriend for one, then she is a freak and I hope I've never met her...that freak ;) Now, seriously, it may very well get her turned on - plus the fact that a lot of couples use vibrators during foreplay. Vibrators are used to add a little pleasure and should not be used in place of the "real thing." Go head and buy one, then when you and your girl are in-the-act, ask her if she would mind using one, but only if you could watch? If she says no... then return your little toy back to the store and get your refund. A CHANCE YOU HAVE TO TAKE FOR BEING RISKY! On the other hand, if she says okay.... then, look out, she just might give you the receipt and ask you to close the door on your way out.

I don't think she will ditch you for the vibrator. I don't think all girls out there crave for a little plastic device to buzz them into an orgasm, but it certainly helps them get excited enough. It would make foreplay quick and fun, so I wouldn't bother.
My advice is to stay away from the big dongs and ****. Those don't exactly constitute foreplay. You might want to get a "finger massager" to use on her. They are a lot more maneuverable and comfortable if your girlfriend is not in the mood at the time.

God I wish I guy wud buy me a vibrator, I wud luv him 4eva. Once she becomes comfortable with it it shld just boost her sexual drive although be wary as she might be uptight when you first run it buy her. Just emphasize you are just doing it to enhance the overall pleaseure she will feel. I had a girlfriend that used sex as a weapon. Whenever she was mad at me she would pull out her vibrator, get off and then roll over and go to sleep. I started buying her bigger and bigger ones and she loved it. I stretched her out so damn big that no man would ever fit in her and then I left her. Don't do it.

The best way to go about it is to ask her first. Don't blurt it out, but some how slide it into the conversation. That way, you would up set her when you pull one out and say surprise! Plus, if she isn't into it, you just saved yourself a chunk of money. A good vibrator is not cheap!

i highly doubt that you will risk her enjoying the vibrator more than you lol. thats what my boyfriend was worried of but dont worry the real thing is better then the vibrator.
