There are as many as you like, if the word doesn't exist, make a new word so easy is that. Do remember that Romanian language is developed from Latin and you might be able to take in words from Italian, Spanish and French as well as Portuguese. By the way, some Gypsies do speak a language very close to Latin in Romania. English is known to have more words than any other language, but that doesn't make a benefit as it can make translations very difficult some times as one have to use several word in English to cover all the possible meanings in a sentence.

Im sure it's written somewhere but it's not exactly a topic of interest, not even for us as Romanians. I don't think there were many people curious enough to start counting the words in the dictionary.
There are a lot of them anyway.

"Of the Order of the Dragon," a society of Orthodox Christian knights who fought towards Muslim forces for the period of the Turkish try to annex what's in these days Romania. It has not anything to do with the Devil. Remember that during Romania Vlad Tepes is a countrywide people hero, a defender of the nation from overseas aggression. Check out Florescu's publication at the truly Dracula.
