A first baby
A push along toy
A cute set of clothes
Mega Blocks or regular blocks
A pull along toy, Great if it plays music while it goes.
Magnetic animal set
A small wagon to pull
Stuffed animal, especially fun if it does something when you squeeze it.
Whatever you get check the recommended age groups, and have fun.

something with Bright colors
because some kids are scared of loud noises.
Basically if you are at the store looking for a toy and are enjoying pushing the buttons for a while longer than other toys then she might like it too.

One of those plastic push along/ride on bikes ,trains etc.. They are aimed at this age, my twins loved there'[s (given 1st b'day) they couldn't walk yet but boy could they get around the house on these. We have hardwood floors so that made it a little easier but they are great for carpet too. Definitely recommend this

Uhh pretty much anything...you could pick up something at the Dollar General for like a dollar, and she'll probly think its the best thing in the world. She ain't like us teens, she dont check the prices on everything we receive!

Anything that she can learn from! Such as Leap pads or classical CD's! I have an 18 month old and she loves music b/c of the baby CD's I would buy her.

for my daughters first birthday i bought her a few plush dolls and some clothes theyre hard to shop for at that age

what i would do is look for something that makes cute/funny noise and is age appropriate. can never go wrong but at that age THEY LOVE bright colors. and thanks to fischer price they have toys just like that. and they are all marked with what age they are appropriate for.
