According to Marvin Minsky's book The Society of Mind, our consciousnesses are made up of lots of little subconsciousnesses that sort of rise and fall in the ocean of awareness. It's possible that one of several centers of consciousness is noticing "from the side" what the other is saying, even though it didn't think of the words.
In most folks, this is transitory and normal. In some mental conditions, it can cause serious identity disorders.
I wish you well.

I used to get this all the time. I would have strange feelings like for a few moments, I was not there, I was looking inside from the outside. Its just one of the natural wonders of the brain. nothing to worry about.

You need to go to the doctor if you're having strange symptoms like that. It could be low blood sugar or pressure, or like a detached from reality problem. Just talk to your doctor and wee what they say...

I think you may be bored about the subject you are talking about. I usally know what people are going to say before they say it. Then I already know what I'm going say. Therfore boredom and deja vou kicks in. We have a gift, use it.

I feel like this sometimes...it almost feels like you are really drunk. My doctor has not been able to diagnose me with anything though. Also my lips and face go numb sometimes when I feel this way.

I really think I know what you mean. I get a feeling like that a lot. It's hard to describe. I have no clue what it is.
