What keeps you from marrying? Is it the man you're living with? I think the reason you are asking this question at all is that you know deep in your heart that you are living a life that is not pleasing to God. Only God can know if you will go to hell, but He told the woman caught in adultry to go and sin no more, and the woman at the well was told of the five husbands she had and it was clear that Jesus was not pleased. He gave each of them a chance to repent. Face truth in the eye and admit that it is wrong and in loving God you need to do something about the living condition you are now in. Real love often calls for sacrifice and you need do the right thing even if it means giving this man up.

Does your religion preach that? I too live w/a man and love God w/all my heart. I don't believe I am going to hell for this. I would think that hell is saved for those worse off than what I am doing. Don't stress over this...so many decide to marry too quickly only to end in divorce court. Are you happy together this way? I mean if you're not then you shouldn't be there but if you have issues than remember to leave it all to God. But no, I think you'll be ok. God Bless.

No, those rules where set up for a different time. I think it is very important to live with someone before you marry them. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, particularly for the very religious, and you want to know exactly what you are getting into. Even if you are not quite thinking marriage yet, I think you are ok.
People say that god speaks to them through their heart. Look within for the answer that is right for you. Imagine yourself having made the decision. If you can feel happy and at peace with the decision, then god supports you in it. If you feel worried or guilty, don't do it.
Peace!

You won't go to Hell if you have accepted Jesus as your personal savior. As long as you've done that, don't worry about Hell.
But, that doesn't give us the OK to just do whatever we want. You will miss many blessing if you are living in sin. Now, we all sin and come short of the glory of God, but if there is something you can do about this sin (either getting married or moving out) you should do it.
I know this is hard. I know I sin and I feel bad when I do. You know what the right thing is to do, or you wouldn't be asking.
Good Luck and God Bless.

Hell is a Christian concept stolen from the Roman traditions of Hades.
Even if you look to Old Testament traditions, Jacob lived in Laban's house for 7 years before marriage to Lia and seven more before marriage to Rachel. For a recap, Jacob and Rachel lived together unmarried for 14 years.
Take that story for what you will.
An Atheist has spoken.

You know what Sis... God is dealing with you on this right now or you wouldn't be asking this question. You know and feel in your heart that shacking up with some man who you are not married to is wrong and not in the perfect will of God.
The Holy Spirit is Convicting you of this sin but you have come here hoping someone will tell you otherwise as to what God is speaking to you...
Your best bet is to listen to that Conviction spirit and repent and make things right!
God Bless you Sis

If you gave your life to the Lord, then no. You are going to suffer the consequences with living out of wedlock, so just prepare yourself for it. Nothing good comes from sin, only heartaches and pain. Also, the Father is not someone that gives you something and then takes it back (like man), remember it is call Eternal Life. You will lose rewards but not your salvation.

God understands our human needs and conditions. When Jesus let them nail him to that tree and said "it is finished" it was. He paid for ALL your sins, past, present and future. although He might not be happy with what you have decided to do, He will take back what he paid for. Regardless of what you may or may not think is a sin or sinful living, you will be judged. As a believer, you are not just judged, but saved from the wrath of God by the power of his blood. God loves you just the way you are. If he thinks you need to get married, it will happen.

Hell yes! According to them anyway.
So, let me ask you. Is it more important to have love in your life or to follow an outdated set of traditions, just so you can say you are a Christian?
Listen and follow your heart. Think for yourself. Adopt a set of morals that work for you and live by them.

You know, it doesn't matter really. I'm 100% convinced there is no God and no Devil, just people that are brainwashed into thinking that way.
As with any Religion, the Religious Dogmatic Ones can quote you "Biblical Babble" till the Cows come home. Yet, you milk the Cows and you get milk not Biblical Babble.
So, don't worry, live your life and let them die and figure it out. 8-)
