i'm 15 and so is he. so whenever i'm in history class, he keeps on asking me how the tests went for me.. but then when we get them back he brags that he got A's. And then on the street, he randomly called out my name, when I never gave it to him and his friends don't know me. What does he want from me? if he likes me, then why does he keep on bragging?? it's so annoying.. maybe i'm just jumping to conclusions.. maybe he doesn't like me? what does it seem like?
one more thing.. he's in the history class after mine.. so he couldn't have known my name from class.
my friend says he's not shy at all.. so if he liked me.. wouldn't he have already asked me out? what does he want.. if he's so un-shy, then why didn't he talk to me yet??

No need to freak, so what? Good for him, he got A's. So he called your name, whatever! Just say hi, and keep walking. No need to be so stuck up on something so simple. If his actions bother you, talk to him about it, but otherwise, he's another friend!

Maybe he's the kind of guy that likes to sit back and observe. He's probably not sure what move to make. He's probably making sure that you both have chemistry and something in common. He might not be shy but maybe he gets shy around you for some reason. He's probably thinking of a good way to approach you because he knows you're too smart to fall for the wack lines that guys give. In my opinion he likes you but he's just trying to take a safe approach and maybe start out as friends. And the reason he brags about his good grades his because he wants to impress, to let you know he's not a dummy.

sounds like he's bragging to you because he just wants to show off in front of you. He probably likes you (as a friend or maybe more).. Everyone reacts different around different people. just because he's not shy around your friend, doesn't mean that he's not going to be shy with you .
Maybe when he asks you about your test again and he brags about his "A" , you should ask him how he does it.. That will start a conversation with him and then after a while you'll be able to tell..

It sounds like you're going to either ask him out first, if you like him, or you'll just have to be patient and give him time. Maybe he just likes to brag about grades. Some people are like that you know. Maybe he's just being himself, outgoing and it isn't that he likes you more than a friend. Just because a guy talks to you doesn't mean he's interested in dating you. It could be that he likes meeting new people and talks to anyone. Have you ever heard the saying, "Never met a stranger"? Well, maybe he's one of those people that doesn't think of anyone as a stranger but thinks as everyone as his friend.
But if you like him, make it a point to talk to him and compliment him on his good grades (since that seems to be important to him)

maybe he is trying 2 feel u out find out if u like him or not he could be bragging in homes u will ask him 4 help with the class so he can get 2 know u better.

First of all you shouldnt loose any sleep over this guy. You are right you might be jumping into conclusions but what ever the case maybe you should just ignore him and pay no attention to him. If he is not mature enough to tell you he likes you than he is not mature enough to have a girlfriend.

Well, I am only 15 too, but I know a lot about guys. I think he does like you. Sometimes guys brag or tease girls when they really like them. Or maybe he is just tring to impress you. I do think that this guy likes you though. He may just know your name from other people. I wouldn't worry about it to much. I hope you have found an answer. And I hoped I helped...

number one thing to know about boys, they are stupid. he probably does like you and is just not going to say anything. even if he isn't a shy guy this is a different situation. i would confront him. ask him what he wants and what his problem is. or just ignore him. it all depends on which direction you want to go. oh and his bragging is to make you see how cool he is. makes him look better.

I think he likes you and is bragging about the tests to make him seem smarter. And he probably heard someone mention your name, and he remembered it. Just so he could talk to you. I think you should try and talk to him, and then ask him out.

What's the big mystery? Here is how it went down.
He sees you and asks someone else, "Who is that girl?" and this other person tell him your name. Or, he heard it in class or heard someone else call you by name.
As for the rest, who knows, he has not decided how to and when to talk to you. Why don't you go talk to him then!
