should i tell him its uncomfortable because it really is or should i keep going?

If it's not something you like, ask him to 'cut down on it'. Hopefully he can take criticism as you two should both be able to express your likes and dislikes openly. Be very nice about it. If he's reasonable, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Make sure to follow up your express of how you dislike this by telling him something he does that makes you melt.

Be absolutely honest. First compliment him and tell him that his kisses take your breathe away, who wouldn't want to hear that. Then just say "its just that little nibble you do, Honey its a little painful I'm not trying to hurt you or be mean I just wanted to be honest".
In any good relationship its OK to be honest because really for the most part the other person wants to make you happy. He probably just doesn't realize that its uncomfortable for you and will be glad you told him.
Have you tried doing it back so he can feel for himself?

Just enjoy it. Be happy that he's not nibbling another girls lips.. Tell him or better yet show him how you like to be kissed.

OMG? You should obviously be able to tell your boyfriend anything... if you can't be open about your feelings on this little situation ...? DEFINATELY talk to him about how you feel when he does that... let him know it bothers you and see what he says... because if you guys are in love or whatever... then he should understand where you are coming from!

takes our breath away as in so romantic or as his going to swallow your face and cant breath. and tell him that you dont like for him to do that to your lip. because its uncomfatable and it hurts. and with the paint is a mood killer. i dont like it and i tell my husband not to do it.

if you ever want to be perfect at anything you have to learn how to take constructive critism. tell him and if hes not a baby he will understand and be a better kisser for it.

Well if he loves you then he should understand.But if he dose it just play dumb and say OUCH that hurt and see if he quits.But i think you can talk to him about it and make you feel better.
