This is not going to be easy, but you can do it.

First, make a commitment to excercising for one hour every day. That should be vigorous exercise--something that produces perspiration. The best fat burner is jogging.

Completely eliminate: sugar in all forms, syrups, especially high-fructose corn syrup, white flour (this means you can't eat bread at all, because it is in all commercially prepared breads), fried foods (with exceptions below), full-fat dairy products, corn, corn products, rice, and potatoes.

Read labels to avoid eating these ingredients. Note that high fructose corn syrup is contained in many commercially prepared foods, including "healthy" breads. It surpesses a chemical that tells you when you are full.

Reduce: meat consumption. A meat portion should be no larger than the back of your clenched fist and no thicker than one inch.
Reduce egg consumption.

Do eat: fish, especially fatty fish such as salmon, mackeral, and tuna. Fatty fish contains omega-3 fatty acids, which are good for your heart and beneficial in many ways.

Eat some poultry with the fat completely removed.

Eat tons and tons of green, leafy vegetables with lots of other vegetables chopped up and mixed in.

Snack only on fresh fruit.

Start each day with a large bowl of oatmeal, topped with skimmed milk and a bit of honey and fresh, sliced fruit. Sweetening your oatmeal is the only time you can break the no sugar rule. Oatmeal is inedible without sweetener, but its health properties outweigh this problem.

Lightly saute your meat and fish with olive oil.

If you eat this way, you will feel full and satisfied and have the energy for vigorous excercise.

This lifestyle will take weight off you, prevent cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, and keep you looking young!

every bodys body responds differently to diets so try as many as possible (atkins, southbeach, low fat etc)until you find the one that produces results and fits your lifestyle. until then its pretty much trial and error. as far as exercise the best thing to do is keep it fun because if your routine becomes boring, too challenging, or not challenging enough then you will likely lose interest. be creative. working out doesnt just mean going to the gym. go to a yoga or pilates class (those can get you into shape), learn how to rock climb, take a friend and hike somewhere and walk or ride your bike whenever possible. I know this stuff is pretty obvious but sometimes it is good to hear it over and over so i hope i helped a little. good luck

I hear you! I can usually lose about 20 pounds in a month by working out about 3 hours a day: 1 hour of cardio, 1 hour of lifting, and another hour of cardio after lifting. On top of that, try a yoga or pilates class 2 to 3 times a week...it will help you tone up faster than most excercise routines. As far as diet is concerned, double or triple your fiber intake (try Benefiber powder supplement), drink lots and lots of water, green tea with lemon (natural diuretics like green tea will help you lose any water weight you may have on your body.) Replace red meats like steak and burgers with huge bowls of beans and brown rice (prepared from scratch...LOOK OUT FOR LARGE AMOUNTS OF SODIUM IN FOODS...TOO MUCH SODIUM WILL MAKE YOU RETAIN ANY FLUIDS. I eat plain oatmeal at breakfast time...for men, this is really good because it gives you a boost of testosterone; otherwise, it is just a simple but healthful way to start the day and give you lasting energy. Try to cut out bad carbohydrates like bread...try eating whole grain pasta instead of regular...it costs more, but it actually tastes better. I wish you the best.

Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

If you're a snacker...stop. I don't know anything about you, but what comes to mind is to only eat when you're hungry. If you suffer from mouth hunger, you have to overcome that. Also, try not to eat at night. But don't starve yourself, otherwise your body is going to hold onto your fats cuz it doesn't know when it'll get anymore. (Or so I've heard....)

Try to stay away from foods that have preservatives in them. Eat fresh fruits and veggies. Stay away from red meats...eat fish and chicken. Obviously grilled or baked over fried. Low fat foods. Stay away from sugary foods. What to eat is basically common sense...you know what to do, just doing it is kinda hard for taste preferences and costs of organic foods.

WATER!!!!!!! Drink lots of water. Lots of water. I believe you should take your weight and divide it by 2....and that's how many ounces you should drink a day. What I did was buy a half gallon plastic water jug, and I carry that around with me. I drink at least one of those a day. It'll also help your skin.

Exercising....do 30 minutes of cardio at least 3 times a week. You can builid up to more time and more times a week as you get into it more. I read an article today that said you need to sweat 4 times a week...it also said that stress makes it harder for your body to get rid of fat. I didn't know that....

Resistance training is important...muscle increases your metabolism and in turn burns more calories...Don't over do it though. You'll get tired of working out and give up. Ease into it and eventually you'll become addicted to it. haha.

It doesn't seem healthy though, to lose that much weight in such a short time. Rapid weight loss is also a surefire way to gain it back. Just take it easy and try to make changes in your life that will be permanent so that you can live the rest of your life in better health and spirits. Good luck to you!

Try the 1500 or 1200 calorie diet.. DONT LET YOUR INTAKE FALL BELOW 1000 cause that will slow down your metabolism. Also increase your activity to four-five days a week with 30 min. of aerobic exercise. ALSO set short term goals.. like... 12 lbs. a month.. or 4 lbs a week... but dont get sad if you dont lose 50 lbs... good luck....!

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

P.S
Regular active exercise is advised with all weight loosing medicines and remedies :-) Take care
