i'm tired almost all the time. i can sleep for twelve hours strait and be exausted an hour later. and when i do sleep, and most of the time it's for at least ten hours, i'm dead asleep. nothing can wake me up. i don't do sports either, so it's not like i'm doing anything exausting. i'm just always tired. is that normal???

and i'm not depressed and i don't have mono and i'm getting plenty of sleep. i sleep for at least ten hours every day so i doubt that's it. and i don't think i'm stressed...

could be stressed
could be not getting a good quality of sleep
could be having side effects of a medication
could be exersizing more or less than usual
or you could be doing something else... its really hard to tell

If your finding yourself always tired, it could be a lot of things. First off it could be anemia. Which is a lack of red blood cells (They carry Oxygen). 2nd, you could have an illness called Mono. 3rd, you may just be not getting enough sleep. 4th you could betaking a new medication that causes drowsiness...

I strongly advise that you go see your family doctor who will do some simple tests and send you for blood work.

i have the same problem, but i play tons of sports. i am a very deep sleeper, nothing can wake me up. i can sleep for 14 hours straight. but it seems like the more i sleep the more tired i am. when i only get 5 hours of sleep im more awake than when i get like 12

you need to look into any medication that you are taking to see if any of these side effects are coming from that direction . do u have high or low blood sugar? also do u have anemia? low blood? this can make u very tired. you may also be depressed. talk to your doctor!! thats way too much sleeping
