In America, it seems like every word is from a different word in a different language, but is that what every country does? Do we all just use each other's words?

Every language is a combination of many languages. Simply saying each and every language has its own significance as well some common attributes which make that language common to other co-existing languages.

Eg:-
American English, has some equals with Latin. Spanish has an equal with French. Hindi has an equal with Sinhala ("sanskrit"), Japanies has some equals with Chinees , Korean.

So every language is a combination of some other languages.

No, but the English language is heavily influenced by Latin.

The origins of most words are Latin, Greek etc. However there are a number of words that are English, for example many "slang" words which eventually made their way into the standard vocabulary

Additionally the proper names of products and other things derivived from English speaking countries are often times natively English words as well. So no, not every word is from a different language. But English is heavily based off of latin which is why it seems that way.

The English language was derived from other languages, particularly Latin.

As European explorers can to America they names places based on Spanish, French and languages.

As new items are invented people need to come up with a word for them. Often they use the English language name but sometimes they make up their own name. Consider things like telephones, cellphones, computers, laundry detergent, coca-cola, etc.

Well, English is based upon other languages (Latin, etc.) but we do have words of our own that get into other languages. I think Americans are the only one who refer to gym shoes as sneakers, soda as pop, etc. I have heard that the French dislike that American words have gotten into their language - like Le Job, etc.

These days, it seems like whatever country invented the terms, they stick - like web terminology is largely english wherever you go, etc. I just heard that brutal is the same in english and spanish - but I don't know who got there first. It would be easier to segregate the languages if we weren't such a global community.

Peace!

English has Germanic, Latin, Greek, and Native American influences.

It's mostly Germanic though...

Most languages are related if you go back far enough... I think words that are fundamental are more universal... like mother and father sound similar in english, french, spanish, german, hindi, arabic and many other languages.

A linguist could tell you better though

No. Newer languages get enriched by including
new usefull words from other languages. The
older languages, say Greek, Persian, Sanskrit,
etc. did not have the opportunity as we have today.

sturdy aspect, notwithstanding that's more effective important to rebut an refute ever Alinsky Lie advised by technique of the creative Liberal Socialists. And by technique of Alinsky I recommend Saul Alinsky classes to the genuine Believers of Socialism. An Alinsky describes how creative Liberal Socialist Democrats will lie, libel, slander, and defame to smear combatants of Socialism from the e book regulations for Radicals by technique of Saul Alinsky. Immoral Alinsky habit proves that creative Liberal Socialist Democrat philosophy is evil & amoral equivalent to that of psychotics or serial killers i.e. psychopaths for the 'more effective sturdy' of Socialism.
