Really, after the first you would think people would learn their lessons. When a drunk driver kills someone where does the blame lie? I think that you should blame the Judge who knew of the prior DWIs, The lawyer who got the charges reduced, the insurance company that allowed this person to insure the car, and the DMV for allowing them to have a loaded weapon. I dont think you should nessisarily blame the bar because drunks lie, the say they are walking, or they have a ride, or they have spare keys in their car. People who drink and drive make a concious decision to drink and drive the instant they pick up their first drink.
So who is to blame? Asside from the drunk.

People keep gettingDWI's because they are drinking ALL THE TIME. Whether they get caught or not isn't that important to them.

Their driving record is a piece of paper, their score card for playing cops and robbers.

I don't know who'se to blame. I'm not pleased with the reasons drunks have for self-medicating, though, and I don't think alcoholism is a "disease" --it acts mor like a criminal game than like the pathology of an illness.

You cant blame anyone but the drunk driver, The only way to stop a person for doing it again is to lock them up for the rest of their life.

People can be stupid, and drunk people are REALLY stupid, so they keep making the same mistakes. In New Mexico, the state is requiring that DUI offenders have a breathalyzer in their car so they can not start it until they pass a breath test each and every time the get in it.

AH, YES, lets all blame someone else for everything that happens to us.

Carroll O'Connor, the actor, had a son who was a drug addict, who one day O/D'd and died. Mr O'Connor went on a nationwide search to find that "dirty drug peddler who killed my son"

Killed your son? Who was forcing those drugs into him??

Mr. O'Connor, your son killed HIMSELF.
