Will I ? I don't think so. I'm a good person, who does good deeds. I am honest respectful and nice ...
I know when I sin, and I accept it, I am sorry for it.I pray to God for forgiveness too >:( !
So can you all answer this one?

Read Is. 64:6. It states that all your good deeds are detestable to God.
They are meaningless as far as salvation is concerned. Salvation is through Christ alone, the Jewish Messiah.

Jesus - I'm the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.

Guys wake up ! It sounds like lies and fraud to me.
Phishing anyone? ...

I've read the bible, all of it, and I understand there are a lot of mistakes and misunderstandings in there.
Isn't God's test to assure you are a good, nice, honest, respectful person? Isn't it pur purpose, like God said himself?
So why must I and others accept Jesus ?
I don't see anything special in jesus, he was let's say just another prophet perhaps, but nothing more than that ..

Jesus.
Anything is possile if you ' believe' and accept him.
For example: An insane serial killer rapes 12 children and kills their mothers.
He likes eating dogs and cats.
He sleeps with many woman, and likes abusing little children at church.

But, he accepts Jesus and asks for his forgiveness.
You as a Christian is telling me that, no matter how much you sin, if you ask for forgivenesss you will go to Heaven.

Sounds like FRAUD to me !

I have thought about this everyday of my life, I'm pretty much in the same situation as you. I pray every night though, and god does answer my prayers. I'm currently serving in Iraq, and I have felt his presence everyday. I also, like you, have trouble accepting Jesus as the son of god. I believe he is another prophet. I don't read the Bible, Quran, or Torah, I don't believe any of them, they, especially the bible, have been changed so many times that i pretty much consider them irrelevant to anything.

What I find ironic about this whole thing is that people leave everything to fate. They say god has everything planned out, every second of everyday of your life god knows what you are going to do. If god has this knowledge, then the decisions in your life are already made for you. Therefore if you are going to commit murder then god already knows you are going to do it, and if you don't then it is freewill. Since murder is a major sin, you are going to hell for doing it. So in turn, god knew before you were born that you were going to hell, he made the decision for you. Now I know christians say well if you do something that bad that is was the devil working within you because you haven't accepted the lord. BS

I don't think any religion is right, nor do I believe any religion is wrong, as long as you believe in God and live a good life, you'll get into heaven. I know this because I can feel it everyday, and I don't believe Jesus was the Messiah. If you don't believe me, watch the movie Dogma, that will open things up a little bit for you.

Sorry if I have offended anybody out there, I don't have any problems with any religion. Anybody that has problems with any religion today is one of the problems of this world, it is why nobody gets along anymore.

Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10
Hell, is the common grave for mankind.
It is a place where the dead rest from the works of life.
2 possible resurrections are mention in the bible, those with a heavenly hope, Revelation gives us the number of 144,000 who will be with Christ in heaven serving as kings and priest.
The other resurrection will occur when God, threw Christ cleanses the earth at Armageddon and those dead in the memorial tombs will come back to life, to be educated in God's ways and requirements.
At the end for the 1000 years of Christ reign, Satan and the demons will be let loose for a little while to test mankind's faithfulness to God.
All those who refuse then, will die and not be given another chance.
To those who pass the final test, life on a Paradise Earth forever. I wish I had my bible with me, I could show you from the scriptures that this is true.

Really? I find that hard to believe. Did you study it? Did you seek help from someone that thoroughly knows the bible to get answers and have an educated discussion about what it is that you are reading, do research? How can you not understand what you posted? The truth is, you just Don't want to believe in the bible. You've made your decision. Now, let it rest and go on with your life. Or is God tugging at your heart? Is it making you mad that you just can't seem to stop thinking about the word of God? Better yet, keep talking about the word of God and keep reading it. Keep letting us Christians know that you are still trying to understand God. We'll stand by you every step of the way. God Bless.

Also, it's pretty obvious that you haven't accepted Jesus as your personal savior. This maybe why you are having so many problems in your beliefs. But, how can you believe Jesus existed and not believe in what he did? That makes no sense to me. Do you believe he believed in what he was saying? OR what he was doing? Jesus is the sacrifice for your sins, how can you ask for forgiveness and not acknowledge him to the Lord as his son? Just the very name of Jesus is SO powerful that when you say it when you are in any kind of danger, he will come to help you. He stopped my van in the middle of a smash up on an I-25 on Solid ICE, I prayed for him to protect us from other drivers and other drivers from us, there were 6 cars surrounding me in the middle of that mess, none of them got hit or hurt and neither did we, but every one else around our circle had a mess to deal with. Jesus is the way and the truth. There is wonder working power in his name.

Ultimately, bud, you need to answer this one for yourself. I'm going to proceed only upon the basis that you're just looking for the opinions of others to refine your thought.

It seems to me that you look at the Bible as a relatively interesting book, a collection of some powerful spiritual insights and some reflections of human error. Jehovah, as portrayed in the Bible, does not seem to be a wholly satisfying depiction of what you believe God to be. Similarly, it seems that the exclusive claims of Jesus Christ seem more like the ravings of a benevolent egomaniac (or as you said a prophet, but I agree with the Christians that Jesus makes claims that are either exclusive or lunatic) than the teachings of God the Son. In that case, you've already answered your own question. If you accept the Bible as a book of interesting spiritual insights and myth, rather than as the inerrant word of YHVH, then there's no reason to stay up at night worrying about the ultimate fate of your soul - or at least as far as Jehovah and Jesus are concerned.

For your own good, I say, move on. But I'm just one guy.

Outside of Jesus, you don't have the covering necessary to escape the wrath of God. You said that you sinned. That makes you a sinner. Jesus is the friend of sinners. Sinners that admit to being sinners are honest, but that doesn't save them. Jesus saves. So put your trust in Jesus. That's what he was saying, as you quoted him, "I'm the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me."

You get close, dude! You really do. You understand what is said. Now go a little further and trust him for it. Salvation is of the Lord. It always has been.

Just do it already!

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God wouldn't send you to hell for not accepting one of his numerous prophets. Jesus was a prophet. Not the son of God. Not the Holy Ghost or any thing else. God didn't have the need to do a mortal act and have a child. God is not Mary's baby's daddy. God looked at Mary and said "be pregnant". God can do this to a tree, to a man, to a car, whatever he wants because HE is all powerful....not his prophet Jesus.

But with that said, Jesus was probably the most important prophet of all and we should love him and follow his message. If you see this as "accepting" Jesus then do it. But God is not going to send you to the bellows of Hell if you decide to just be a good person instead. After all....isn't that the basis of all his prophet's teachings?

Peace

For you to be a good, nice, honest, respectful person is great for the rest of us, but it does nothing to bridge your gap to God. If you have ever committed a sin, right then and there you chose to break your bond with a Holy God.

We've all done it my friend. It isn't a big scales of justice in the sky with our good attributes on one side and our bad on the other.

It's realizing that we are lost to God through our own choice to sin. The special thing about Jesus is that He didn't sin. At all. He fulfilled the Ten Commandments to the letter. Then God presented Jesus as a sacrifice for OUR sins. The one guy who could have honestly thrown that stone at the prostitute because He was without sin defended her and stood between her and certain death.

That is why Jesus Christ is special, and that is why I love him. Please continue your search for Him. He loves you and wants you to set aside your pride for your own good and come to Him.

Yes and No... This is a rough query. The following ideas are my opinion. I am Christian so I fall within the two.a million billion folks. But additionally I dont feel very well Jews move to Hell both. I simply believe they ignored the boat however they nonetheless feel in the real God. So will have to they get punished the equal method as Hitler? I believe the all-loving God might no longer do this. Also there are lots of folks in the market that feel in God and Jesus however dont realise there Christian... Ive talked to such a lot of folks that say oh im catholic... Well that's Christian! I wish this is helping and its no longer simply rambling...

I Think the first mistake in the bible is that MAN not God instills fear to the masses. Yes God wants you to be good and love one another but he also gave us the free will to LEARN how. MAN created sin. If you have read Genesis this will make sense.
The day we received free will was the day they ate the apple from the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE that's when the realized they were naked.
My interpretation of this is you can remain blissful in your ignorance or you can take the hard road and learn. And they chose to learn.
So Therefore I think if you truly try to be a good person and learn from your mistakes then you will eventually go to heaven.

Sorry, Jesus never said He was just a prophet. He made specific claims that you may not dismiss. Either He was crazy, or he deliberately lied, or He really is Lord of Heaven and Earth.

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I AM: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. :63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? :64 Ye have heard the blasphemy:...

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name (power), and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, [Mohammed] him ye will receive.

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.
