Directly, nobody has heard from God, and if they say they have, they are lieing to either themselves or you.

God speak's in his own way's but the way he spoke to me was upseting
I was in a recent denial period and I was so angry with God for what I was going through that the next morning I woke up to the phone at two oclock in the morning it was the hospital I awnserd it it was my father he was just in a accident and was seriously injured he now has 6plates and 36 screws in his right arm just to hold it together and God was telling me I had it lucky right now he almost took my father away but instead he gave me a new life I was mad because I found out my best friend probably wont live to see 20 years but I learned to cherish the time I have with the people I love because you never know when you will lose them.
Not all of Gods speakings are good but all of his reasons turn out good in the end and just pay attention to what God is telling you and see if you learn a lesson from it.

Look at who speaks for God

In Christian mythology, God is supposed to the the all-powerful, all-knowing creator of the universe. God is supposed to have incarnated himself as Jesus and he is supposed to have written the Bible. And yet today God is completely and absolutely silent. Therefore, the only thing we hear from God comes from people who are speaking on his behalf.

If you would like to understand how imaginary God is, all that you have to do is listen to God's spokespeople, because in many cases these people are lunatics. If there actually were a God, and if he actually had anything to do with love, he would silence these people because they are an absolute embarrassment.

Here are several video examples that demonstrate the problem. Thousands of examples like this are available (all of these movies are in the source section):

Thank God for dead soldiers
Holy spirit enema
Jimmy Swaggart Would Kill a Homosexual
Pat Roberston 1
Pat Robertson 2
Pouring the water
Hot, cold, lukewarm
Pitch his tents

If God were real, he would speak for himself. The fact that God does not speak, and that he allows any lunatic who comes along to speak "in his name," shows us that God is quite imaginary.

I think god talks to through daily situations. Like maybe a stranger on the bus gives you some advice and you say "I'm sure glad i ran into that person" I know now just what I need to do. Because God is so mighty and so powerful I don't think our physical bodies could handle direct contact. So just watch out for those little seemingly insignificant signs.

God speaks to me all the time. When you pray or just ask him something, he uses different ways of speaking to you. He may use the Bible, or another person. Sometimes you'll just be reading a sign or something and it speaks to you. The word of God always brings peace to your heart when making a decision. It's kindof a knowing, if you know what I mean. It hits you hard and it's almost like a small rush.... it's like wow, that was God.

Not in an audible voice, but yes, I believe I have heard from God. If you think God is speaking to you, and what he says is not in harmony with his word the Bible, then it's not God speaking to you. If you really want God to speak to you, open up the Bible, ask God to reveal himself to you, and start reading. He will speak to you through his word and through his Spirit.

I have had near-mystical experiences which I have viewed as being from God (not in the sense of his having thrust them upon me; but rather in the sense of my beginning to see something of his beauty)...

I used to be an atheist... However, over a period of time, I became convinced of the reality of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ...

(this might help provide some background relevant to your question above)...

Cordially,
John

I have certainly heard from God before. In fact, he communicates with me a lot. I am just a bad listener... lol.

Something that's fake can't talk. The people who say they've heard from god are nuts.
